Tracking Insulin and Medications in Allie on Android

In addition to using a Bluetooth device to take measurements and send them to Allie, you can also manually enter data as needed. This article will cover how to track your Insulin and prescribed Medications in Allie on a daily basis.

Insulin Dosing

If you are expected to take Insulin. you will see an "Insulin Dosing" Task in your Tasks page, as well as in your Care Plan.

To capture the amount of Insulin you have taken, just tap the "+" sign next to "Insulin Dosing" to see a pop-up where you can enter the number of units of Insulin you have taken, and then indicate whether it was "Long Lasting" or "Fast Acting" Insulin.

You can also tap the blue "+" sign at the bottom and then choose "Insulin Dosing" from the next screen.

Enter the number of units of Insulin you have taken, and then indicate whether it was "Long Lasting" or "Fast Acting" Insulin.

(If you do not specify which type of Insulin it is, Allie will ask you to enter this information befor e it will save).

After adding your Insulin, you'll see the Task move to the "completed" section of your Tasks page.

This information will then be available for your healthcare provider to review.

If you realize you need to edit this, simply tap on the Task in the completed section. This will open a pop-up where you can modify the date, time, number of units, and type of Insulin.

There is also an option to "Delete" if you need to remove the measurement for any reason.

Medication

If you have been prescribed a medication. you will see that Task in your Tasks page, as well as in your Care Plan.

To confirm you have taken your medication, tap the "+" sign next to the medication name to display a pop-up. You can also tap the blue "+" sign at the bottom and then choose your medication from the list of options.

Confirm the date/time, and then tap "Taken" to indicate you have taken your medication.

After doing so, you'll see the Task move to the "completed" section of your Tasks page.

This information will then be available for your healthcare provider to review.

If you realize you have made a mistake, simply tap on the Task in the completed section. This will open a pop-up where you can modify the date and time you took your medication.

There is also an option to "Delete" if you have not actually taken your medication yet for the day but will be doing so later.
